APRIL 21, 16TH ANNUAL LOG A LOAD FOR KIDS BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT 

Sacred Heart Children's Hospital invites fishing enthusiasts to register for the 16th Annual Log-A-Load for Kids Bass Fishing Tournament.

 The tournament will be Apr. 21 on the Tensaw River at Live Oak Landing in Stockton, Ala., and all proceeds will benefit children in need at the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.

 People can pre-register at A-1 Accessories/Small Engines on U.S. 29 in Cantonment or register the day of the tournament at Live Oak Landing. Early registration fees are $130 per two-person team, if received by Apr. 20, and $140 per two-person team the day of the tournament. The non-refundable entry fee includes launch fees and ''Big Fish Pot'' entry.

 All registrations must be completed at least 30 minutes before safe daylight Apr. 21.

  Participants will have the chance to win $5,000 for first place, and the contest will dole out $6,000 in other amounts for the next nine places. This competition requires fishing partners.

 The tournament begins between 5 to 6 a.m. and ends with a weigh-in time at 3 p.m., and a live auction will be held that day and will be open to the public.
